Another transatlantic collaboration with Ralph Lenz in Niagra Falls and former Captain Beefheart (wow!) drummer Robert Williams in LA.
lyrics
Ghosts In Your Machine
There is always someone watching from behind a secret screen,
there is always someone waiting, out of sight and never seen.
Every action that you've taken, all the evidence you've gleaned,
is now gathered and forsaken, by the ghosts in your machine.
Ghosts - in your machine. Ghosts - in your machine.
Walking by the water, in the dark night of your soul.
Every shadow could bring slaughter, in the mist and rain and cold.
They have tasted your technology, they have wasted half your brain,
And all the tea in China could not bring it back again.
Ghosts - in your machine. Ghosts - in your machine.

It doesn't matter what track I choose they are all fabulous, from the outright Spacerock of Biometrics to the simplicity of Journey, where else can you hear past members of Hawkwind mixed in with various, sometimes unexpected guests (even if a few of them are dead), doing what they do best, making great albums. Alan Davey is a magician and to think if he hadn't left H/W we may never have got this beautiful work. Andy

Loved Bridget with Hawkwind and Spirits Burning. This is an enthusiastic collection of songs with great performances and melodic and lyrical detail to fascinate.
